Regional and National Winner of ‘Hotel Restaurant of the Year’ at the Oceanic Food Awards

We are delighted to announce that Aspect Bar & Bistro has been the winner of ‘Hotel Restaurant of the Year’ in the Food England Awards hosted by Oceanic. . This award is a true recognition of the amazing team that we have and the hard work that they put into delivering award winning food with great service. We are really proud to continue delivering award winning food to Morecambe.
We were up against some fantastic contenders and establishments from The North as well as the country as a whole. It was an incredible evening, and it was great to take members of the team along to The ceremony held at the Mercure Hotel, Manchester. The atmosphere was electric and it was great to be among other fantastic food establishments.

Background for winning ‘Hotel Restaurant of the Year’
At Aspect Bar and Bistro we pride ourselves on delivering fantastic food and attentive service. When we were nominated for the award we were asked to submit evidence, that showed how we had grown and evolved our product and also contributed to the area.
Over the past 2 years we have been tweaking and adapting our product with the changing environment, while still ensuring our menu utilities local fresh produce. When the pandemic hit we instantly took the initiative to create a home delivery takeaway service to provide afternoon teas and Aspect Bistro quality food to people’s homes. This became a huge hit and through local customer support we were able to maintain a degree of trading at a time when eating and drinking establishments had been forced to close.
We have been so grateful to get back to regular trading and serving customers in the Bistro. New menu and delicious dishes to come soon!
